Default rebuilding the daily driver...d16z

ok so i blew the rings and wanna get em fixed..

first off should i have the head and block trued?? it has overheated a few times but what do u think?

also as long as i put the rod bearings back in exactly, should i replace them while theyre off? or should i reuse those?

im using arp head studs and oem h/g... mind as well do the timing belt and water pump while im at it... so what else am i missing that might come up

all i want is new rings!
oh and which set should i go with?? oem rings? or whats decent out there for d/d small boost...??

if you blew the rings and have overheated the motor a few times i'll bitch slap you if you dont hone the block, resurface the head, and replace the bearings

if all you want is rings, buy a good condition block

have you torn it down yet?
you prolly need new pistons...not just rings.
