Default 100 miles+ Daily Driver turbo?

Has/does anyone have a home made turbo on their daily driver that drives a minimum of 100 miles and up to 180 miles maximum? Can a stock honda engine take the boost for that kind of driving everyday?

Here's why I ask... I got a real good new job that I have to drive about 55miles each way and I'm wondering if I should keep my project alive? The drive is strictly freeway and going AGAINST traffic, so there isn't much stop and go traffic. But I need a reliable car!
Setup would be:
TDO4 8psi
450cc w/SAFC II
36x8x2 IC
Give your thoughts!

It all comes down to tuning. Tune that bitch good and it will run forever.

Some people have shitty luck and some people get lucky. I beat the ---- out of my D15 for quite a few thousand miles and it took every bit of it with a smile. Some people say they blew there D15 within a few hundred miles. I dunno? I never drove out of town with mine.

Exactly, that's why I posted this, I need a reliable car that can make it 100+ miles a day. But I wanted to get some feedback from anyone that drives 100+ miles a day on their turboed honda.

And for getting a spare engine.. refer above
As for driving it easy so it doesn't boost? why even have a turbo then?

if you are just cruising on the freeway you aren't going to be building boost (unless your foot is in it)
it would just be rolling the air along and will not damage the motor, plus you have that turbo power pull whenever you want it

correct me if i'm wrong, but judging by his name, he's got an accord which should be more conservative at hwy speeds, at least, i would think

As long as it is tuned correctly you should have no problems. At highway speeds you probably won't be boosting anyways, and if it is only 5-8 psi you should be able to drive it daily. It's only about 55 miles one way then you will stop the car for what about 8-9 hours and then back 55 miles. Yous should be fine. Now if it was 100+ miles of crazy boosting then I would be worried.
