C2-B3-B3-B2-B3

4 green and a yellow, just go all green (standard size) and be done.

Your rod journals are BBCB

Are you building a 200,000 mile motor??

If not go all green or all yellow, it's what Honda does

use the chart and get the right sizes from honda. plastigauge them to make sure they are in spec. if not, go up a size and plastigauge again.

thanks alot guys... motor has 100 000 miles and theres some small scratches (barely fingernail catchers) on 1 or two of the journals so i need to ge tthe crank polished... will this polishing effect the bearing clearance enuff to go from greens to another color? im an apprentice machinst so i know that .001 is very small and it can easily be taken off so that would make the bearings too loose..

thanks again..

well when you plasitigage the bearing, if it's on the end of the spec 1 thourandth could throw it out of spec, but if when you plastigaged it and it was in spec, 1 thousandth may not throw it out.

basically i dont wanna go out and drop 200 canadian at honda for a set of bearings then have to buy a whole new set after i install and plastigauge them to find out i need a smaller set of bearings... is there a way to mic the crank after ive polished it to find the bearing size that im going to need??

Yes you can Mic it. You don't need to get them from the honda stealer. Clevite is good. And cheaper.

so ive done some further research.. ive found that standard acl bearings are the equivalent to green honda bearings.. now ive mic'd my crank and its like two or three tenths over the botom of the green bearing tollerances set by ACL.. so what color of honda bearing do i need thats one step smaller than the greens? i ask because im gonna be taking off .001-.002 off the crank journals when i polish them.. kit seems to me that browns are the next step smaller and that they should do the trick for me.. does anyone know the min/max sizes for the brown bearings so i can know exactly what size journals that they will be good for b4 i order 18 of the wrong bearings lol
