I don't think it's better. I can get my Ls/vtec oil lines with my turbo oil lines from stealth for $120, then I get my $60 head gasket, then my dowels for $30 (con shipping estimate). Plus $10 at the most for the plug. Now I'm at $220 for the same thing they offer, plus I've done most of it myself in the true hmt fasion. That site also doesn't include a timing belt either, and those are pretty handy for using on a motor.

yeah, but by the time you add shipping for all of that stuff (they're shipping is free), you're right at, if not over the same price and you don't get the handy dandy oil filter "sandwhich", or a slightly overbored head gasket for that "perfect" seal, or the trusted golden eagle name backing you up. i don't think that kit's a bad idea at all and is basically the same price you would pay for everything seperate, and you don't have to wait for 10 different things in the mail, it all comes at the same time

considering my project is year long time is of no importance. My oil lines will be coming in the same package as the block, and I'll be building the block first. How much for just the gasket?

i don't know, but it did say that you could purchase individual items seperately, so email them and ask them, or search the site some more........
