Oh thats right.. not a big deal I guess, all you need is a RPM activated switch to turn on vtec. Simple as that.
Thats basically what my zdyne does.
A picture? of what.. how to take the engine harness off? just go pop your freaking hood and look. Its not rocket science!

no i meant a pic of the harness.. crude. Like.. is it one continuous harness from the ECU then brances off inside the engine bay too all the different sensors?
yah.. just tune a pm6 from low lobes below x rpm and tune for high lobes after xrpm and put the switch to = X right.

no, a harness goes from the ecu and splits up into a couple of big plugs, that's what the actual "engine harness" hooks up to inside the engine bay. hold on, i think i have a pic from when i did my swap, it might take me a few minutes to find it and host it, i also have to take a bad pisssss........

You have a main engine harness, that runs across the engine/tranny starter. It dissconnects on each side near the strut tower, 2-3 plugs per side, disconnect all the small plugs, like Reverse light plug/ign on wire (fusebox) and walah.. the freaking harness is just sitting there.
Turboedit/Ghettodyne is basically the exact same thing I use. I just paid 1000 for mine It does all the same stuff, lets say you start off with a base B16a map and just modifiy the fuel tables, and change timing around.. There ya go, you have a base B18 map now.

Re:LS/Vtec fun
first we have the engine harness unplugged from the main harness, the two plugs go to the fuse box, then to the ecu (via through the firewall)
here we have the same thing on the driver side, two bigger plugs, no fuse box, and i don' know where the hell they go on the other side of the firewall, i don't think they run back to the ecu though.
and here, we have the two plugs on the passenger side with the "engine harness" still hooked up to them. the engine harness plugs in here, runs across the engine with numerous plugs which plug into all the sensors, and plugs back in on the driver side like in the second pic, so the engine harness plugs into both sides of the car, it is it's own seperate piece of harness. all you have to do is unplug it from the driver side plugs and the passender side plugs, and disconnect the main power going from the fuse box. and the rest can stay attached to the engine while you pull it from the car, as it is completely disconnected from the car now.
