ISB is out! Now wtf do I DO??? BONE HELP!
So I finally located a B-000 tranny, I got it off this kid for $80. The only thing wrong with it is I noticed there was some back and forth play in the input shaft. So I tore it apart and noticed it was missing about 4-5 ball bearings around the input shaft on the inner part of the bell housing. I've looked everywhere for a replacement bearing for this. But no one has it that I'm aware of. O'reilly's checked the NTN part# ( NTN SCO5A61) with no luck. I'm at a dead end. This is the first time I've ever been inside a tranny and my manual doesn't cover anything on the inside of the tranny. Someone help me out with this, as I need to be putting this tranny on this week or I'll be walking. Bone I know you know this stuff, chime in man. PLEASE
Thanks
Another question would be.
Am I suppose to just repack this race with new bearings? Or is there a complete bearing pack that goes around the input shaft. I noticed when I pulled the gear set off that there was just the race and the bearing surround the input shaft. No inner "small metal circle" like a typical bearing would have. I am very confused about what to do from here.
Thanks
