Well I'm behind you. I say go for it it'll be a good project. Is their a 5spd trans for the v6 though?

its a 5 speed manual gearbox indeed.
Also, its getting pretty off-topic, K20 engines are out of the question....just above buget, WAY above. I just want to know if the V6 engines have potential or not. If somebody knows anything about it and if it can handle a fair amount of power with stock internals.

weight is the only problem that I have with V6 in small car. I have a friend putting a V6 in his 99 integra to ice race with. I don't know if the extra 200 pounds is going to hurt him.

I can see why you'd wonder about that an extra 200lbs over the front wheels that your trying to steer with on ice. It could end up making it an under steering pig. Or who know the weight might give him some traction.

I would go with a accord for the widder wheel stance. If its going to be a track only car, you could cut weight pretty easily.

He says he's fabing an entire mid rear chassie himself.. I myself don't think the weight ------ out over the four tires will hurt him. He's just wanting to know how a honda v6 engine can handle boost with stock interanls.

Overall weight on any car at the track is important lower the better. Weight placment is very important too.

PS I tested 600 pounds on the front end of my car. It was a waste of time, because our lap times went down.

well, i have 2 options, 1, i build a very very light 1 seater with a bike engine, or a bit lager, 2 seater with a v6 in it. It just needs massive power :P
