Ok, that's what I thought. Do a manual conversion, that car manual was fun as hell. It's not hard either, the original drivetrain was auto and had a blown engine, so he bought a wrecked manual parts car for like $2-300, and had a decent car for like $400 total.

Also, I would say the 2.7 would be the best for the money, you can pick 'em up dirt cheap ('round here anyways), then turbo the bitch! I think with the right cams and forged internals, they would just be plain badass. but that's just my humble opinion

how do you figour that, you can get a obd 1 ecu from a accord v6 and run it cheap. you never seen a turbo v6 on ?

the 94 and 95 acura legend ls and gs came with 6speed manual transmissions.
the turboed 2nd-gen legend is a very rare species, but a few are known to exist.

you should do it NNBD - and by that i mean build the boosted honda v6 tube chassis race car
