D16 vs B18

Re: D16 vs B18
I had a D15/Y8 Mini-Me in my 92 CX, and was going to drop in new slugs and boost it... Then I found out if you look hard enough, you can find B18's CHEAP.
I picked up a 83K 1996 B18B1 for $275 (Full long-block, wiring harness and all) along with axles, and I paid $430 shipped for an LS trans with Clutch/flywheel/hardware/linkage/starter/etc.
Sadly I can't comment on how much better the motor is yet because I still haven't gotten the correct rear trans mount in it yet :1 , but the cost of a built D-series I feel is more than a stock B18B (Rods/pistons/machine work can add up, while my full swap was about $700), and you can get alot out of a stock B18B bottom end.
