overheating issues and a glowing turbo manifold is often due to WAY TOO RETARDED(when your too retarded in your timing your EGT's(exhaust gas temperature's) or too lean your manifold will glow like that) Change what ever your doing right NOW or your may not have a motor left. If your EGT's are too high, you can easily melt a stock cast aluminum piston! You can lower your EGT's by advancing the timing slightly.(I've heard if your timing is 4* or more too retarded your EGT's will be 100* or more higher than you'd ever want them to be)
