I have done a 89 dx to a 2000 civic motor and a 86 gti volkswagen the 8 valve 1.8L to a 92 passat 16v 2.0L motor All u need is wiring diagrams for both cars email me if intrested in some(I have 1984-2003 ALL makes and models).

 

just take your time, double check everything! I've heard on here that there is no funny wiring to be done when putting an OBD0 b18 into a rex. just mounts and tranny?

 

all i gotta get now is mounts and a shift linkage but my neighbor gary welds so im gonna have him modify my shift linkage...i still need mounts damnit..haha

make sure he does a REALLY strong weld. the previous owner of my car made himself a short shifter by cuttin the shifter in half below the pivot and welding it and it snapped on me while doing light shifting! got a rear short throw now. but, make sure he makes it into a v-groove then fills it with steel and welds a little at a time. So he doesnt just cut two ends flat and make a ring of weld around the outside. My shifter was welded like that for 8 years b4 it broke so you never know for sure. Good luck

 

Buy 90-93 integra linkage and modify that.. the 88-91 crx linkage is a bitch to modify.. plus it doesnt fit right reguardless

Beats me.. call other junkyards out of state if you have to, or check other forums.
