they must have been dumb on hp tv, all you have to do is make the cam gear up arrows point up, then make sure your distributor rotor is pointing to the #1 wire, you can just unscrew the cap if you don't want to drill a hole in it.

I don't know if the dizzy can go on the wrong way, I got lucky the first time I put it on and I lined it up every time after that.




hey you guys!! I had a guy from the local gmc dealership (friend of my dad's mechanic friend) look at all my wiring with my chilton's manual after I verified that my dizzy works by putting it in my brother's car. the 2 black wires right next to each other on the end of the a-plug don't work, I have a break in the ground somewhere. rather then finding out where the problem is I'm just going to cut the wire, solder and heat shrink an extension, and ground it so I can drive it to school since my grandpa gets back into town tomarrow and I've been using his teal automatic del sol.

yeah, that's what i was thinking, but i've got all of you beat! my grandma is boosting (saab)

 

I don't think it counts if the car is boosted from the factory.

I'm not getting any coolant temp reading, my sensor connector was filled up with coolant and I tried draining it and wiping it down as much as I could with a paper towel but I still don't get a reading. the fan is on all day and when I take it off I get a cel, but not when it's on.

 

I have seen it once or twice where the person was an idiot and put it in there and it fit fine but as soon as they started the car ht caused the intake cam to slip. Remember i live in a town where people think its good to file down teh piston rings so the piston goes up and down with less friction
