did u align the dizzy properly? meaning the motor is at #1 TDC Comp stroke (all valves closed) and the dizzy rotor is pointing at the #1 spark plug wire??

yes I aligned it. there is no spark at all, right now the distributor is off the car for testing on my brother's b16 hatch which will happen tomarrow. It's a real bitch not having a car, I have to borrow parent's cars and that's no fun, I need a car I can beat the hell out of.

no, a bseries dizzy can and will go in the wrong way and bolt up. Its not good and it causes belt slipage!

my OBD1 dizzy off of my b18a only fit on one way, on the b18a and the b18b that i swapped it on to. the two key things (that fit into the end of the cam) were different and could only go on the cam one way??

who knows.. whatever. I just know that I saw it on Horsepower TV when they swapped in a gsr into that green civic. THey cut a hole in the dizzy cap and aligned the rotor and then put a new cap on.

hmmmmmmm....... i wonder what was the purpose of that? it seems like that would just be adjusting the timing?? i don't know though, you would think they would have a timing light on hp tv
