Default b16 runs, I like to drive fast. read my last post.

The Short Story:
My car ran but doesn't now. Clicking noise comes from left side of dash while check engine light on dash and ecu flash. No spark. Haven't checked fuel. Any ideas?

The Long Story:
Last night I went with my brother to the shop where I'm doing my b16 swap. I called Onyx very many times and all this bugging resulted in my car running for the first time this month. I had a mean coolant leak since I forgot about a heater hose and didn't hook it up (I didn't figure it out until this morning). I had to take the car for a spin while it was running and I did and coolant got all over everything, including my wiring. This morning I went to start the car up and it didn't work, it just cranks and no starting. when I put the key to the on position there is a very quick clicking noise from the left side of the dash and at the exact same time of the clicks the check engine lights in both the dash and on the ecu flashed. I called Zdyne since I have a zdyne moded pm6 and they didn't know what was going on. I found that there was no spark coming from the distributor, and there was power going to it. I called Tuner Toys, whom I bought the distributor from, and Craig suggested replacing the ingnitor module, I'm gussing he meant the coil, so I'm working on that. the screws on it were too tight some I'm going to take it to a shop to take off the screws. Can anyone think of anything else that might be a problem?

A clicking noise? This might sound dumb, but did you check the battery? The ECU might not work properly if the correct voltage isn't present. Just a thought,...

that's what the zdyne guy said, but it cranks over like a champ and it ran yesterday.

I have tractor/rv/truck size connectors on the batter with 1o/t wire running from the hatch to a platinum coated brass distribution block that has 1 wire going to starter and 1 wire going to the fuse box.

where might this relay be? can I just get a 12v relay from radio shack to fix it?

The main relay? I really have no idea about that being the problem, but it is just below the hood release under the dash. It should be gray and have wires coming out of it. :P

the main relay turns on the fuel pump and all sorts of other goods that make your car run. You might have a short somewhere which might be the case. What part of the harness did the coolant leak on?

coolant got all over, mainly on my distributor wires that I bullet connected for the square to round plug conversion.

the clicking did sound like it was coming from that, I saw a gray plug with a bunch of wires coming out of it in my dash. can I replace it without removing the dash? I'm pretty confident removing the dash since I've done it twice, but it just takes me a few hours.

It comes out with a 10mm bolt. The dash can stay where it is at.

and it's replaceable with the generic 12v relay from radioshack or any other electronics store?
