not bad numbers for a D, congrats. What times have you got out of it? I am not here to dis anyones setup or the guys that truly know their ****. I am here to see if the guys dissing the Ks have any fact to back up their statements. So far there isnt any.

It was running 13.0's on the stock MAP sensor and a basemap, I have since fixed that. It's no 11 second car as the suspension is all high mileage stock, it might do a flat 12 now if he got a 1.8-1.9 60' from it. From a roll it would ---- your NA K-swap di-rectally in the ***, though - welcome to low buck turbo cars. I've got some money to put on THAT race.


You don't know who Robert is, either. However... do you know who I am? I can borrow the keys to any number of local 9-10 second cars that I tuned and/or are running parts I donated... or I can put my car together and asshammer you myself. My car doesn't have as much money in it as a K-swap, including cost of car itself... are you scared of that?

This is HMT, big fish, home of the $500 turbo setup, lowrents, e-thugs, and people with generally bad attitudes. Are you trying to e-prove something here? Look, you might have gotten a decent K-motor that's only had it's transmission fall out six times in the last three years, but this thread is a goddamn class war and has nothing to do with any of that. Hardworking blue collar boys aren't ever going to cut you slack for dumping money when there is a better bang for the buck, give you any respect for bolting on four digit pricetag headers you bought out of a catalog when they manifested more gains from a $80 Harbor Freight fluxcore welder and some plumbing pipe, etc.

maybe you can tell my sponsors we dont know the Ks lol. I have ran 11.1@124 7 or 8 times not just once and we should get our first 10 at the next race if the track is good. We do LOTS of Ks and all the other series of engines Honda makes. In 3 year of beating the hell out of my own K I havent had any of these mysterious problems some of you speak of. Nether have any of our other Ks or my friends with Ks that we race with around the US. Now that you know who I am, how many of you bashing the Ks actually have any REAL experience building a K? Now what in the design of the K makes it any more prone to dropping valves or trannys than any other Honda series? Again I am not here to dis anyones setup, just to find REAL facts from the guys bashing the Ks.
