you guys cant seriously be putting the blame on chris for the direction of this site, its been going downhill for a while. the reason the OG's left is more likely because they have moved on to bigger things. its inevitable to prevent the site from becoming filled with retards, because the site gets more and more attention everyday. half of you conplaining dont even have a turbo car or a turbo project in the works so who the ---- are you to complain this is HOMEMADE TURBO.com not homemadeletmecomehereandtalkshitandcontributenothi ng.com? what have you contributed to making the site better in the last year? and not only that you guys that are complaining about how all the new people are idiots etc etc. why do you think thats so? because they see how all the veteran members act and think they can do the same.
think about this: jeff sold the site for AT LEAST a 5 digit amount, considering chris's comment about it being as much as alot of people on here make a year. how many of the people who were fighting to buy the site from jeff were going to drop that much money and let everyone continue to run around and call everyone a nig and post **** in every thread they feel like and generally run the place down. heres a hint: NONE. noone is going to spend that much money and let a site continue to go downhill so they cannot get sponsors to make thier money back. if you have such a problem with it YOU should have put up the tens of thousands to buy the site and let everyone do what they want.
i dont blame chris for doing what hes doing. hes trying to protect his investment, but i HIGHLY doubt that his intention for the site is just to make money. he actually wants to make this site a place to actually learn something. look how many of you posted in jeffs going away thread about how if it werent for this site you wouldnt have been able to build your first turbo car. Well, if this site was full of bullshit like it is now you wouldnt have learned ----. this site wasnt always about calling people ------s and posting **** all over the place. i remember years ago when i started looking at this site it had alot of interesting info and builds going on. josh was the only one calling people ------s and making funny MS paints and it was all in good humor then all of a sudden this new stupid fad of people calling everyone a ------ and demanding/posting **** and talking ---- happened.
