Ok here's my take on all this. I'm no OG by any means, but i've been around here since 05 and i've seen a lot of changes on HMT. First of all people who get offended by anything on here need to realize that its the ------- internet. Nobody is making you be here. Seriously, what's next, someone is going to hang themselves in their closet like that bitch on myspace, cause guys can't take a racial joke? But I understand where a lot of guys are coming from to clean up the image of HMT. And how can you guys ---- all over Chris? He's trying to change the place so it will survive. Granted the changes may be different, but we all had good times while they lasted.

I think a big problem is just a large influx of noobs we've had and then they see how we interact, and try to jump in, and everyone gets fucked up. HMT surely has enough members, sometimes i almost wish it were a subscription site since i know many of us here donate regularly. But regardless, the **** has been all in good HMT fun, and isn't offensive if done properly. Therefore, no more **** in avatars or sigs, but make the **** forum available only upon request. Or hell make it an anything goes forum. Surely everyone gets a good laugh from a N* joke, and it's not like we're racist here. I doubt there's many members that post here and then go lynch someone out back. I think i've seen some forums do that where you actually have to request to have the forum show up. Then you could have the sleek image of honda tech in the front, and enter the backroom for the good ol hmt fun

I also think we need more noob control, i think that's a big reason why ---- got so out of hand. Too many new people that are just ------- around or asking questions that could be easily answered by searching. I know myself and many others here turbo'd their cars simply by searching, before even becoming members. Hell maybe make the site invite only.

In the end Chris is the new owner, hopefully he'll take our wonderful online bar room and make it a little more PC so threads like this won't be spawned everyday. Also sponsors do help the site wether you pussies agree or not. Could you imagine HMT without Craig from Tuner Toys, or LSD Mike? Come on. And if my words have fallen on deaf ears, then at least it was fun while it lasted.

This is the be-all end-all to my arguement, if the site is going to be cleaned up the first thing on the agenda should be dumbass people.

When I say dumbass, I don't mean Spiker, because that car would walk all over most anyone on this site, I mean the tens of thousands of "how do I check codes" or "what turbo do I use" questions that usually get posted in GD and have to be moved.

Then there's the money, if there's going to be sponsors they should be good sponsors, not some fagstick who bought in bulk and is trying to make a quick dollar. Those are the people Chris should show us he's actively trying to keep out.

Also what I said about the profit margin, HMT has been running for however much it costs now for this long, proceeds from the website should go to further discounting parts, this in turn equates to more sales and happier customers.

Trickle down bullshit Reaganomics, where you get more sponsors, therefore having more available things to sell, therefore more buyers, and therein more money and employment does not work.

Show us this is not what's going to happen.

Xeno does a good service and is a good guy, but business is business. I want to see if he'll compromise short term profit for integrity. FagoJon on the other hand is a dipshit mAd TyTe MoDz e-thug.

Do you honestly think Stoptech would prefer to sponsor and inform a site full of dumbass people or a site full of **** and racism?

I designed MY BUSINESS around informing and educating as many people as I can...and by golly, my business grew.

I am going to make a point to recommend to EVERY vendor, new and old that they make a point to educate their potential customers here because I feel its the best way to sell products, at least on this site. Not everyone has that vision or that direction though...and the fact that when they do come on this site, they have to sift through the necessary bullshit (****, racism and retard posts alike) which makes their job harder.

Myself, Tuner Toys, LSD Moto, Weir...and a few others have been here a long time, and I plan on recruiting businesses like theirs to this site because they can add to it. But at the end of the day, rent is due, health insurance needs to be paid, insurance is a ----------er and the tax man needs his grip as well....so if someone wants to sell happy ***** pills, he is more than welcome.
