lol, a while back when i first started coming to this site i was reading an post titled "F%^k YOU N$%ERS!! or something like that and this black girl i worked with came up behind be to ask a question and saw what i was reading like " AWWW HELLLLLLLLL NO!, WHAT THE ---- IS THAT ----!, UH UH, HELL NO."

Eh, not that it matters much but my opinion is this. Until someone actually stands up and says, "hey you saying the N word offended me" in a particular instance, it shouldn't matter that much. As for pr0n, I like browsing the tech threads and such at school, saving the **** section for when I get home... But if people insist on posting **** in any section outside of the **** section, (it's been said before, I learned this when I first joined HMT like the second day I was on here...) POST "NSFW" in the title! So that way, the people that can get into some ---- looking at threads at work and then some C cups pop up on the page right in front of their boss can know wether it's okay to click the thread or not.
Anyhow, this site has turned (and I speak from not even being here that long at all...) from turboing cars with as little money spent as possible and fabbing up your own ---- to save money, spanking the ***** off of these so called "fast/quick" $30,000+ new cars.... to about where you need to post the **** at, and if you can make racial jokes or not. All the bullshit aside, the sight has alot to offer. I think amidst the fewer and fewer builds that were being posted is when so much of the **** and racist stuff started appearing... So let's move the ---- on, and turbo more cars. That's all I got.

i can remember being 16 yrs old with my crx had a zex nitrous kit when they first came out.. first kid to have it in the area. ---- got stolen, i decided iwas going turbo. i stumbled across jeffs geocities page in 2001 and have been hooked ever since. we used to count down the days when hmt would actually become a forum.
when hmt became a forum we had an amazing group of guys. guys which 80 percent of the ******* here wouldnt even know existed.
we all grew together like a family. jeff ran the northwest, i ran the northeast, we were sprouting crews everywhere like the TC crew run by stealthmode the cali guys, the pennsylania guys ect. there was a time when i had 30 guys from 4 states coming to my house 3-4 times a year to do free installs for deserving noobs who wanted in to the crew. we were loyal ---- we had hmt hats still do. for a solid 3 yrs meets were awesome, all over the country, the forum had new build threads every day we were building serious ----. we pioneered alot fo what i used and taken for granted by noobs now
slowly but surely a new wave of noobs came in, shittied up the area and everyone disbanded. i mean ---- we used to have topics on the front page that were borderline kkk ----. anyone remember the tookie williams mspaint i did that was on the front page for liek 3 weeks? yea. gimmie a ------ break. i used to get banned all the time for stupid ---- like posting my dick, ect. i mean ---- i had over 12 thousand posts and prob weeks straight of my life contributing to this site. i had every major og at my house all of them. ive donated alot of money, time parts my house, my tools, supplied ect. all for what was a ton of fun and a worthwhile nonprofit cause..
now look at this place. its ------- terrible. noobs are worthless, everyone who possesses any kind of real knowledge is done posting. because of the faggotry that has swelled in. no meets, no nothing. noone builds anything worth a ----. noone cares, nothing. we even made a new site for the ogs to go to and keep it real like it used to be.
in short banning **** and racism and trying to enforce it now is a lost cause. the damage is done, the ogs are gone, the meaning of this site is long lost. this site is now nothing but a money making venture for chris harris. he will groom it however he determines is going to be the most profitable. i never thought id see the day. if racism was what sold ecus and widebands, then hed be encouraging that too een if it wasnt PC.
most of these idiots posting in this site lobby for the change because they have never been blessed to have been a part of the REAL hmt family.
as amatter of fact mostly noone will. in a sense it was like hitting the lottery,. i have some of the best memories and had the greatest fun of my life with some of the closest friends ill ever have off this site. now look at it. what a ------- shame. and to see doc boost jumping on the soap box along with jago ect. almost makes you thinkt hey are now almost recieving compensation for strict moderation. cause lemme tell you before, none of them gave a ---- about anything. its a shame to see dudes who used to be legit, turn into **** gobblers.
and a bigger shame to see alot of good friends go the way of better things because they are sick of the influx of crap that has slowly but surely brought this site to its knees.
just remember. the real hmt is dead.. has been for along time. so its kinda hilarious to watch the last few homos and all the dickweed noobs trying to salvage a site that burned down long ago with all this censorship and bullshit.

hotrex makes a point, its moved away from what it should be and has been floating on bullshit for the last year or so with few and far between memorable builds where i used to read new ---- and jimmy rigged parts and crazy asshatry being put into cars daily. now its barely entertaining. if hmt is to be salvaged, it needs to refocus back on the cars and builds and people actually doing things instead of just talking about it.
