-1 cup 1% milk
-2 packets of carnation instand breakfast powder (choco)
-1 heaping tablespoon of natural peanut butter (the kind with the oil on top that you have to stir, not jiffy or krap i mean kraft)
-i banana
1) put the milk into the blender first (my blender had measuring lines ont he side of it so you dont have to dirty a measuring cup too)
2) add the powder
3) scoop the peanut butter and dump as much as you can into the blender (some will stick to the spoon obviously)
4) to get all the peanut butter off the spoon, i use the banana to wipe it off then drop in the banana
5) blend baby blend.
tatse killer and has lots of good protien for you. i like my shakes really thick so they stick to ya gut for a while. add more milk to make it less thick
this is good for a pre or postworkout shake
if your looking for some good strength training books to read which have everything you need, i'd recommend these books hands down:

Cover Model Workout by Owen McKibben
Core Performance by Mark Verstegen
I have all four of the above books in addition to a slew of others. If you combine all the knowledge in them, you have enough workouts and diet plans to last you into retirement. the best generic diet plan out there right now is the South Beach Diet but its geared towards people who are overweight looking to lose pounds. guys or girls who want to bulk up or get ripped and lean need to follow a similar but slightly altered path. the books above follow that.
I'm pretty big on health and nutrition and I keep myself in good shape since i just turned the big 31. we bought a brand new home gym (kinda like bowflex but with weight stacks and lots of other stuff too) and i bike and snowboard in season regularly.
