im not saying the mini14 is more accurate than a ar15... im saying they are pretty accurate, especially compared to a goddamn ak or sks which are both very innacurate

if you want to buy a ak, then mod the ---- out of it. go ahead...

mini14 is more reliable, more fun, cheaper to shoot, and more accurate out of the box

good review on the mini14 "target" version.

i have the rancher version and i would recommend that one.

http://www.gunsandammomag.com/long_g...606/index.html

To me, the new Mini 14 Target .223 is the epitome of what a useful rifle should be: fast, accurate and dependable. After I was finished testing the rifle for accuracy, I proceeded to fire a procession of five-round magazines--about 300 rounds' worth of various types of ammo--without cleaning the gun. Not the most extensive test, sure, but the Target passed with flying colors and nary a hiccup.

While it may not be a 200-yard prairie dog rifle, the Mini 14 Target most certainly is a 200-yard coyote gun, and if two-legged varmints are more your concern, it's got firepower in a compact package that's easy to shoot and maneuver. And, perhaps best of all, it can do all that and still be a fun gun just to spend a day plinking with.

Haha, it never ends. I guess we all can't have our own opinions and beliefs since Johnny will come in and give them to us, regardless of how wrong they are. :1

Ya, sure they are. Try to convince any sand ------ or commy in the world of that. AK vs Mini 30 in reliability? AK will win hands down.

i shoudl've said "some of the best"

if you haven't noticed, we aren't in a war zone and he is not going to use the ak in combat.

the ak is very innacurate, and very unreliable is this aspect, it gets more and more innacurate everytime you shoot it.

YES it will keep shooting, YES it will take a lot of abuse, doesn't mean it will be accurate.

you don't know ---- except what you saw on tv

special forces still use M14s and M1As as sniper rifles. i guess they SuCKz cause i used AK in counter-strike and it ruled!!!!

M14
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQ8pK...watch_response

AK47
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvrG4T2K4sE

the ak47 is #1 because of its image and ruggedness.

but if you look at the stats, the m14 is more accurate, has a longer range, more stopping power, higher fps, higher rate of fire, and arguably just as reliable
