It just depends on what you feel comfortable with. I rented an xd 9mm from the range and it seemed wide on the slide compared to what I end up carrying everyday. The M&P9C

Been debating between the 45 and the 9mm calibers. I guess a trio of 9mm hp rounds will put a decent hole in someone at 20 yards. What kind of groups can the M&P do at 20-25 yards?

9mm ammo = $9 for 50 rd
45mm ammo = $15 for 50 rd

What I have.

Just got a few boxes of ammo and some hollow points for christmas. They make a huge mess.

With 9mm hollow points, I don't doubt my 9mm would do the job if needed, but a .40 would be nicer. Not as nice price wise to shoot for fun, though.

.40 arent THAT expensive...unless you plink with hollows lol

$12 more for a box of 200 vs. the 9mm is what i usually pay for my Remington loads. Sold my 9 to buy the 40, I like it a lot better

9mm probably is plenty. From what I've read cops use 9mm/40s and hollow points, so I'm sure it does the job.

Only thing I dislike about this gun is cost of ammo. BUT, it was for fun/personal protection. If someone pushes it I'm going castle-doctrine on their *** with a 13 round clip of jhp 45s.

I need a 22 or something for plinking... My gun costs me more an hour than I cost my employer.

I usually go to the range about once a month. About 400 round of 9mm (@$20/box winchester white), 40 rounds of 12 guage 7 1/2, and 100 through the rifle. It's a spendy trip, but I guess it'd be worth it when it matters to have the .40

Took the step dad and step sister, and G2terror (kurt cobain lookin mufukkka) shooting recently. Didn't have too much footage, but made a vid for it.

Why is the female so heavily clothed and not shooting in slo-mo

I shoot every weekend, but it's out in the backyard. Living in the country, mmm
