Yes.

I've never had that much trouble with a balljoint. Might have something to do with the "no rust" thing we have out here. My old truck the balljoints would just pop out even if I didn't want them to.

ok dude i jusst went out and rented a professional fork tool set

i used every single one both ways and this ****** isnt budging

i just bought a hack saw lol

my tie rod went out on my monte carlo and it was stuck on for a whole 2 seconds i took a hammer and beat the ---- out of it and it just popped out in 2 seconds i took the wheel off removed the tie rod ad put the new one on in less than 10 minutes :1

now i dont get anymore cool screaching noises on the on and off ramps on the freeway


oh well atleast ill save money on tires :P

project is now officially on hold till i come back from florida... i might pick up a first gen sedan from there

gonna put the suspension back in and roll this ****** into my backyard for now

you can seperate it. get a large 5 foot piece of pipe get leverage on it and go to town. Also make sure to spray some penetrating lube



I have never had a ball joint that didnt want to seprate



You also dont have to take them off to begin with to remove the motor



You can remove the control arm from the frame 14mm bolt. The shafts that connect the control arm from the crossmemeber 2 17mm bolts and 17mm suspension bolts on the wishbone



swing it out and there no need to remove the nut from hell. dont forget your cotter pins need to be replaced or enjoy wrecking your car







ball joint bolt should also be impacted on has well. With cotter pin installed afterwards
