F22 rapes for its price and block strength, and relibility.

Steven,
Except maybe avoid the dropping a valve and smashing a piston part.

Sort of like how ITRs are consistently owned by ghetto build LS with 404's, who wants that ---- if you want to go fast instead of impress men with how much money you can waste?

My $0.02 on the subject.

Jd jecu was referring to boosting the k series in that quote. Id rock the b series it would end up cheaper and in the end you would have alot more potential although a nice sohc build running very low ets would deffinetly be awesome to see and be by far the road less travelled

yeah, thats my point. its still basically a d-series, but its a stronger block from my understanding, and dohc.

and if you think about it, the zc was sort of a pioneer to the b16. the valve cover still has a little bit of the zc valve cover left in it

It's not going to be any stronger. The rods might be a little bigger, but they are still tiny compared to the B-series motors. The head still flows like ----, so I see no advantage, especially since there isn't as much aftermarket support like with a D16z6.
