plus, you dont need to port a b series head to make 500whp.

I throw all my ls heads in the garbage... because they are garbage. Even if you wanted me to ship you one, I'd throw it in the garbage.

Why don't more people run LS heads then? Why do all of the high horsepower 500+ whp hondas you see run vtec heads? I am somewhat curious why you feel so strongly that an LS is better than a B16/GSR/ITR head. I'll do a little searching because I'm sure you have posted why you think the LS head is better somehwere, but feel free to post up why.

I Love D-Series... but the only first hand/long term experience I ever had with b-series was my LS swapped sol (long gone)... I loved the LS, and it pulled like a mother ****** in the integra I pulled it from when it was boosted...

Do what you want, but my opinion is, the "b-series is easier" doesn't matter if you are doing it for any kind of enjoyment. This hobby isn't all about what is easiest, because not doing ---- to your car is easier than turning a wrench.

If it is just to prove to people you are fast, hang that ---- up(reguardless of the motor choice), no one really cares in the end. Build what will make you happy, not others. There will -always- be someone lighter, faster, and more unique than you, so why give a ---- about all that?

Ds are the only thing that my Coupe and my Wife have in common....

I want to build a drag car because I love drag racing, not to prove I am fast. I would have fun even if I was out racing by myself. Launching on slicks at the track and going fast gives me a hard on. Now my motor choice is kind of a different story, if I stuck with my D-series it would be because I love my D-series motor AND to prove a point.

I really have no idea what I am going to do. I change my mind everyday. I see myself leaning towards B-series more everyday, just because I have a feeling even if I reach my goals I will still want more.

Maybe I will just have to do both... :P
