You need to have the ecu grounded somewhere. The closest place to do this with the ecu ground in the harness is the thermostat. Without that it will turn and turn and not prime the fuel pump.

The ecu gound is the thermostat ground. It's a black spade tongue. Just loosen a bolt on the thermostat housing and tighten it back down with that bitch under the bolt. Without that spade tongue grounded your fuel pump won't prime. I don't know about spark, but you're getting no fuel I bet. I forgot to ground it too when I put my motor in and it did the same ---- for days until I saw it.

yah i put that on and i was getting fuel its actual running when the car is in the starting position but as soon i leaveit to run on its own in the on position it will run for a sec thenshut off im wondering if the main relay or the ignition switch is bad or even if the ecu needs a better ground

If it's getting fuel you're sure I would say it's the ignition switch or relay. I started a base p28 240cc map with 450cc no problem, it just idled like ----. Check your relay for continuity... the Haynes manual has the test in there. Then I would check the ignition switch for continuity and voltage.
