Ok Im guessing its most likely a bad battery but havent tested it yet. Moving on.... Well lately, for the past month the cars only holding a charge for no more then a day. If I dont turn it on at least once a day. The batt is drained? Just wondering if maybe something is drawing power.... enough to drain it dead. I havent added anything to the car in about 6 months so what the ----. Like I said, prolly the batt. Ill get off my *** and take it to get checked tuesday just wondering if it could be anything else. Most likely the battery, do you have an audio system? Do you have a volt meter? You can check the battery yourself pretty easily if you do. Just get it and check for 12 volts across the terminals, make sure it holds at 12 when trying to start it. Also wouldnt hurt to check the cold cranking amps and see that it is close to the recommended amps for your car.

Could also be the alternator...unhooked the neg. battery terminal while the car is running, if the idle drops or the car spits or sputters or stalls out then the alternator is shot.

hey bro well u can check as well if u have a something on get a test light disconnect the positive terminal connect the test light to that with the key off and the doors closed the light should be off if its on u have a broken positve line that is staying on and draining ur batt let me know i can go check out ur car

K so I got my multimeter on tues afternoon to check the batt during the day. Ive only had time to mess w/ the car at night and the parking lot isnt light where I usually park. When I opend the hood I noticed alot of batt acid deposit on the firewall. I went ahead and pulled it out and noticed a crack. Called in a favor and got a new Interstate battery for free from a bud. So far, cars running great! Thanx guys!
