Wastegate testing procedure.
well i was in need of this a few weeks back so i will post how i did it.
-compressor
-holley fuel pressure gauge 0-16psi (chev)
-brass Tee
-1/4" air hose
-brass nipple
heres a diagram
all u gotta do is hook that up. turn on the compressor for a few seconds to build a little bit of pressure.. around 15psi will work. then bleed off the compressor and see when the WG starts closing. (because itll be fully open at 15psi)
when it starts moving down. record the gauge pressure and u will know when your wastegate opens..
(also this was just ---- i had laying around the garage i am sure u can devise other ways. but the holley fuel pressure gauge is very precise unlike compressor regulators.)
