yes that's after honing

all the grey dirty looking rings are rust pitting that was essentially untouched by the hone.
the ton of ---- in cyl one just hadn't been cleaned out yet. It was bad but not as bad as that makes it out to be.

overheated yesterday, prayed it was air in the system so i filled and bled it.

got a little warm on the way to work this morning, topped it back off

got retarded hot on the way to lunch, figured my ghetto head gasket was not so good

found the hose clamp on the back of the head from the bottom of the rad was off :1

now I'm hoping my electrical gremlin is a loose neg. on the battery. Every time I try to start it all power goes off. pop start ftw!
