Yeah I would definately sell the FMU and look into running a better source of fuel management. At least look into running an Apexi AFC and a set of 450cc injectors. You'll get plenty of fuel with that system and it's alot more reliable and tuneable than an FMU.
More than likely having your head shaved like that is going to bump compression up. Porting will increase airflow which in turn means you'll need to supply more fuel. Your going to need something you can tune to run safely and effectively. I'd try and stay away from that FMU on this project.

Since your new, you should step back from buying parts and read everything. Read all the FAQ's then go to www.turboD16.com and read the FAQ's there. I have learned a ton from these guys and if you do the research you will be a lot safer and happier in the long run.

CSaddict is right, there is alot of reading and learning involved before just going out and buying parts. But if you look around you can find a decent AFc for about $250-$300 and a set of DSM 450cc injectors for $60 or so.

sorry about that. this peace of ---- computer just froze.i brought these things cause a friend of mine did this same setup on a d16z6 in a crx.the motor was totaly stock though.so he told me about this site and i said ---- it im going turbo. i will get the injectors and that afc ---- you told me about.thanks for the info it was a great help.i gota go now wifey is calling but i will keep in touch.PEACE WHY does my ---- say im a llama on the screen. thats some crazy ----.
