turbo setup
 
just starting with this turbo stuff can anyone help me with info on turbo charging my delsol.Got a few questions and need some one that knows enough to give me some answers. Im pretty sure theres a few of you out there so let me know some thing.

Kidding, what questions do you have? More than likely it can all be found throughout the furums and your answers will be here. Just read up a little and we won't hve a problem answering any specific questions you may have :)

I got a T3 off a saab and brought a 10:1 fmu and i want to know what can this do for my car.

What do U have ? a SOHC or DOHC in your DelSol

Any idea what the wastegate is set for ?

& for the guys that really know their turbos. Size of the Compressor

I just want to know how much boost can I run? I read some things on this site some say fmu okay some say it sucks.Im just starting so Im trying to play it safe and not blow my motor yet.

Well running an FMU is an inexpensive way to increase the ammount of fuel your stock injectors will put out. It's certainly not the best way and can be difficult to get good AFR's out of. But, using one is kind of dependent on how much power your looking to get out of the engine.
Are you looking to keep it fairly mild (5-6 psi on stock internals) or are you going to be building the engine up to handle quite a bit of boost? I personally wouldn't run an FMU unless I absolutely needed to, but it's all up to how much you expect out of this setup and how much you want to put into it.

i dont plan on rebuilding the motor till she blows but i would like to run as much boost as i can safley.i also got the head shaved to 40 port and polished 3 angle valve job.how would this affect me.
