Default turbo rebuilding???

hey whats up everyone, ok now with my question. How hard is it to rebuild a turbo at home? There is a local company called majestic turbos that sell rebuild kits for 100 something bucks. Is rebuilding a turbo something one can do themself? thanks a lot.

Yup its pretty easy, just a couple simply tools, hammer, 12pt sockets, snap ring plyers and a few others.

If just a simple replacing of bearings and/or oil seals, TEC in Golden CO has T3 kits for $58 a pop.

If you want to wuss out, bamabev on eBay sells reman T3 CHRA for OEM vehicles at $125/per, you supply the housings.

How can I get a hold of "TEC" ? I've been trying to find mistu turbo rebuild kits for months, but everyone says, "why don't you just get a garret?", the answer has something to do with manifolds costing $1700.00 for my car.
