Default Turbo oil burning

I ripped my turbo apart and couldnt really find anything wrong with it. BUt it was burning oil through the downpipe and blowing it in the compressor housing. THe seals seemed to look fine. Could this have been from my return oil line not being low enough cause it is only like 1 inch lower its a pretty sharp bend in the hose but it doesnt kink. Could the oil have possibly backed up and forced out the oil seals I would think it would take the path of least resistence and flow in to the oil pan, but i dont know. Any ideas

THanks

It may very well have.. or you could have simply over revved the turbo like I suggested.

A good smooth flowing oil return is a must in each setup.
