turbo burning oil bad
k guys put a new setup on the ride its a d16y7 with a 14b it burns oil like crazy ,i have the stealthmode oil line kit , the kid that had the turbo before me had no problems running it on his honda. why does it do this on mine. somone told me it might be crankcase pressure soi hollowed the pcv valve goes to the black box out and ran it to the ground, still the smme issue just takes longer to smoke now what else could it be , do i need a restrictor and if so will the fitting filled with jb weld and drilled to the right size work properly , any help is appreciated

Go to www.--------------------------- and get a restrictor.. Steathmodes fittings are 1/8th npt I believe.

i've never got a 14b that didnt smoke. who told you it was in good shape the kid selling it to you, i'm sure he did becouse he wanted you to buy it. i've had 3 different 14b set ups and they all smoke a little. they come extremely over worked on the 2.0 they originally came on, and they usually get beat to 15-16 psi before they are actually take off the 2.0 for an upgrade. there usually roasted by the time somebody like you or me get them. but thicker oil 10/40 and a oil restrictor will help with the smoke

^^Right, good link. Set screw with 1/16" drilled hole is how Dad fixed me up. Works flawless.
Chris brought up a good point though too, check your oil drain and make sure its straight up and down on the center section and flows smoothly into the pan.
