i had this problem for the longest time. My actuator was dented like a bitch even when i first got it from the guy who previously had it. Even on my car it was wedged in there super tight against that bracket bolt. My wastegate never worked right and i'm pretty sure the actuator didn't even work, but the only thing controlling my boost was the way it sat. After some fidling around i was able to keep it at a steady 10psi, but it took forever for it to spool(tiny wrx turbo). Now i just got an external wastegate and eliminated this problem altogether :P . No more slow spool up.

I will figure out something to do on it. I think im gonna try that mounting it to the block deal. If worse comes to worse, I will extend the arm. I dont really wanna do that, but I will if need be. I just dont wanna ---- anything else up.

I will post up what I do after the weekend is over.

i haven't made any real plans for a dumptube yet. Do you think it would be a good idea to get one? I'm getting kinda tired of the exhaust smell coming through my vents whenever i go WOT

well, considering that that dump is pretty much dumping right on top of your turbo with the hood down, i would highly reccomend putting a dumptube on that.

I mounted mine to the frame rail, and extendd it with some wire, it worked good. lol.
My wastegate actuator isn't even bolted to the turbo right now, the can pressure is holding it in there. Maybe thats the reason why im having boost problems.

I must be SoCal! I mounted it to the A/C bracket and used one of those slider thingy mabobbers for sockets. I cut it down and drilled holes where they needed to be and BAM! Problem solved. No cutting of the bracket, no shaving of the block.

so when i take out my ac just leave the bracket and use it
? and what exactly are those slider thingy mabobbers for sockets? the thin rail that holds sockets?
