T3's with the HF manifold combo on D's are a bit tricky getting the wastegate to clear. The actuator is so ------- big on T3's it usually hits the block. In the picture shown in the first picture you asked how I got it to clear?

If you look, that wastegate on that t3 is really small, Nissans had small actuators. Typically I usually use a different actuator (like a t25) or mount the actuator on the block and extend the rod.

you could also flip the turbo around if the adapter plate will let you. it'll be a little more difficult to run charge pipes, with the compressor on the passenger side, but it will work.
i wish i would'a done this so i didnt have to go through all of this trouble, but kinda glad i had the trouble, so i could help some other people out, before they got into the problem. I thought i was fucked at first. :P
i was accually able to fix it relly easy. im just gonna leave one of the bolts out on the bracket. i think it will work just fine. im also gonna cut the bracket, pretty much like jeff did, so it sits in there a little better. i am gonna try to put that bolt back in there just not gonna be attached to the bracket.

I wouldnt have it rub on the block like that at all. Overtime the heat/vibrations will make that ****** move and will grind right into that actuator, If the lid on the actuator gets a pin hole in it, Hello Boost spikes! becareful, I'd notch the block a bit more or get that actuator tucked in.
you could always mount the waste gate to the block like most of us in the So cal area. if your WG has a threaded piece go to ash or any hardware store and get some of the same typed trehad and extend it and mount it to the blck. their should be a 14mm tapped hole where the AC use to be and just use that. it works great! your gonna have to make a breacket or just bend the one you have. it works.

I mounted it to the A/C bracket and used one of those slider thingy mabobbers for sockets. I cut it down and drilled holes where they needed to be and BAM! Problem solved. No cutting of the bracket, no shaving of the block.
