i was compairing the size of the one intake valve to the 3 vtec valves it would take to equal the same flow. it was a compairison simply because... well, ppl that drive hondas think that my shifting at 5k is ludacris.. its mainly because im making the same if not more power 3000rpm's less. instead of having variable valve timing and winding the **** out of it, ill stick with my .475 and keep it below 6k

it depends on what your looking for.. i prefer making 300ftlbs @4200rpm and 240hp @5000 rather than 180ftlbs@6k and 300hp @9k
my car was in no way shape or form designed for racing, hauling ***, towing, boosting, or anything of the sort. i think its prety impressive coming from a commuter econobox designed for gas mileage. n/a it is extremely guttless and would get slaughterized by most imports..
but boosted, with a SFMS. well see.
i have a total of about 3500$into it including the car and all the turbo stuff, and a total front end replacement.
the car is totaly ford. made in oregon. the only thing japanese about it is maybe the interior plastic.
before my swap with my 1.9 liter i ran 16 n/a. i dont konw why your friend ran 17 with a shot. mabe he should learn how to drive the car. they arent designed to rev out.

ya.. its all about cheapness for me. i made everything for my car. i didnt buy any kits or pre made parts. i fabricated everything with a grinder and a mig welder. i started out the project because i was tired of the same people doing the same mods to the same cars. that t3 supplies me with 17psi all day everyday without going above 85* AIT. i am considering getting a bigger compressor, raising the compresion and running another 5 psi.
