T-25 turbo project fail *VID*

Re: T-25 turbo project fail
I had a revelation today. Went tuning, and for some reason there my car would misfire at about 4300 rpm, eventually i realized that it was a ripped diaphragm on the wg that VadimkaG sold me (which was also a cause of many headaches with the T-25 build) My boost gauge only reads to 10 psi which is why it took so long to figure out.
A pox on your house Vadim if you sold me this pos knowing it was trash.
So i threw on another wastegate and got it tuned a little bit. Running 13psi right now (had to play with the boost cut feature to figure this out) and the 450's are almost maxed.
Vid will have to wait, blame Vadim for causing me an necessary headache.

Did it the other way since i was originally planning to have an e cutout running through the bumper. Pain in the huevos to reach oil line and bottom manifold bolts with the hot side on the left.

also why didnt you face the turbo the other way? I did with my CDM manifold and it worked fine not like you have ac or anything. would probbly flow a little better and a little less pipe
non the less nice setup man best of luck with it

Re: T-25 turbo project fail
Was that a spring holding the flapper shut on the t-25 setup? If so that was probably your problem.
The spring was allowing the flapper to open up while the wastegate was dumping. That would explain why it felt like it was dying on the top end/

But that still leaves me questioning why it would misfire at high boost? AFR's were fine, plugs were gaped fine.
