What size turbo are you running? That exhaust housing looks massive(T4??), like something from a diesel engine, but I see the turbonetics logo stamped on it. Nice setup, bet it's gonna rip...

 

yes its a t4 exhaust flange the spool was about 3500 on it turbonetics t-62

 

How areyou running your exhaust? Through the water neck opening then where?

 

yea it goes down the old washer res. and then goes down and back to the factory under the oil pan with a cut out. its all i can do with that manifold.

 

I was wondering cause I had the same issue and I went ahead and made several pie cuts from the exhaust housing "2.5inV band" to a 3in pie bends till I got back around to where it should go back under the pan from the front. Then out to 2.5in skunk2 exhaust. Very tight area. But everything is heat wrapped of IAT's or sweet and cold

 

Where did you get the cage? I was thinking of picking up an S&W kit, but I wanted to hear more DIY testimonials before moving forward.

 

if you have access to a bender i would just make your own.. but i bought mine on ebay for like 260 shipped..

and everythign is heat wrapped on my ---- so it stays really cool

 

i ahve the head torqued down last night and assembly on everything tonihgt hopefully! need to get another fuel pump and im lookin at a set of 1150cc injectors i dont want 1600s they are just way too ------- big, and 1000's on e85 hold me back at 500+- HP... so im looking for more than that. waiting on a map sensor, base map, fuel pump. and injectors, and it should start

don't all these cage attachment points have to hit in the same location ?

 

um for my goals this cage should be just fine, i imagine if you get into some crazy times there are a lot of rules you have to meet. but i dont think i will get bothered at all with this one.
