I have a 4G63t in my 92 Colt with Evo8 pistons, 1G big rods, Evo3 cams and balance shafts eliminated and I plan on running a T04E 60-1 and an external 40mm wastegate. I want to put a Walbro 255HP and a set of 1000cc Siemens injectors in it to handle 25-30 psi.
Anyway, a set of 450's could get you 300hp easily. I ran those in my Talon on an EvoIII Big 16G and it ran well up to 17 psi which got me 300 HP. You should call Chris at Xenocron and order a ZIF socket and ask him to burn you a custom chip. Give him your current setup specs and what you plan to run for injectors and he can make it so you can run whatever size injectors you plan to get and still idle properly. My 92 Integra ran a B18A1 with a Dodge Daytona T3 on it at 12 lbs on a stock block and I made 256 whp on a Walbro 255 and 390cc injectors from an automatic DSM. He burnt me a chip for my PR4 ECU and I socketed it myself and the car ran like a dream. Pulled HARD.

BTW, Sorry EvansPerformance, I'm not trying to undercut you. I'm sure you know your stuff too. I just have a good history with Xenocron so I'm kind of partial.

If you want me to tune it or do anything yourself with it, the software is $150 and then you will need a moates ostrich ($175) or the moates demon ($250)
i have a 3 month goal on the time frame of this build, you should p.m. me the address of your shop, also see if you can get this guys contact info or let him know that i have a virgin p28 out of a 95 del sol (d16z6) if he can do the chip great if he wants me to get it chipped thats fine too..... Too bad you don't live out in Washington. I got my P28 chipped and street tuned on CromePro for $280 by English Racing. They will be tuning my new set up as well, but i will dyno it this time. Last time the dyno was down and I did not want to wait. LOL

I'll ask my buddy how much he wants for the 450's. I'll PM you when I get the info.

I'm not too concerned. Chris is a good friend of mine and he is an awesome tuner. Hell, I have a few prototype parts I am making that will end up on his drag car soon and hopefully for sale on his site. I even told the guy of another shop he could go to for a tune. The problem with getting a chip from chris is that it won't be tuned for the car. He will even tell you that it's not meant to be driven hard. Basemaps are to get you to a tuner, not go street racing on.

All of the info you need for Tom is in that link I posted. He is a badass tuner and you will be happy when you leave his shop. I do all of my own street tuning, but when I need a car on a dyno, I make the 3 hour drive to see Tom.

If you want a good, cheap street tune I can PM you my info, but if you want a dyno tune, I recommend Tom over pretty much anyone, at the very least in FL if not farther.

Chris helped me when I turboed my D15B JDM Civic. He sent me the P28 ZIF socket and basemap chip for less than $50. I bought the DIY kit. All I had to do was buy a solder sucker and a cheap solder gun. I knew about the basemap thing, I talked to him on the phone and he told me that. He DID however send me a basemap chip with stock P28 fuel and timing maps modified for my 450cc injectors. My car idled perfectly even though I never got it tuned.

4G63Sleeper, i know Chris is good, and,im not saying a basemap cant run well. im just saying i wouldnt push the car on a basemap, thats all. i sell basemap chips all the time. i havent gotten one complaint about how the car runs.

No no bro, please don't take me the wrong way. I was simply agreeing with you. Maybe I didn't word it correctly. $400 for a dyno tune is pretty cheap BTW.
