Default questions, i'm getting close

1. what do i need for vaccuum tee's? do i just go to the autozone and get some? is there a certain size?

2. on that topic, how do i run my boost guage into an existing vaccuum line? it only comes with the hose, and a bunch of ---- i would need if i were going to tap my manifold.

3. if I am going to run water lines, where do i run them from/to and what do i need to do so?

4. when i lower my boost via actuator arm, i want it to be longer right? or shorter?

5. would it be better for me to run the wastegate at 5psi and use an mbc for 3 extra psi? or just run 8psi at the wg?

6. do i really need to have an adapter coupler from 2.5" to 2.25" (ic pipe to ic) or from 2.25" to 2" ic pipe to turbo)? or could i just use 2.25" straight couplers?

7. what is the diameter on a stock y8 tb?

if i come up with anything else, i'll put it in here, i'm just getting down to the wire (2 weeks till install day) thanx for the help.

1.They have diff. sizes, so take the vacuum hose you are going to use.
2.Use a T and tap in a vacuum source after the TB then run it all the way towards the cabin, fairly easy. Also use ties (Nylon locks) to secure all the hoses when attached to the T's.
3.Coolant runs right under the TB and either hole (on the turbo) could be the in and out (its not like the oil).
5.Set it at 8 psi, 'cause you'll probably going to lose boost due to piping and intercooler, so check your gauge then adjust boost through the MBC.
7.TB diameter is 2.5"

Stock studs will be just fine, on some of the HF manifolds you will get the little brackets on the lower side of the manifold, these aid in holding up the heavy adapter plate and turbo setup.

But not all blocks have the corosponding holes on the block to match the manifold, I think its only obd0 engines that have it.
