I ran 11, no intercooler and it was fine

Don't worry about it. I ran 12psi on my ZC(olive top) with no IC for at least 4 months. Granted it was the winter but the motor held up fine. I had all my piping set up for the FMIC so it was a piece of cake to install once I got the FMIC on the car.

why not wait? well i have been waiting for a long *** time just to be held up because i dont have a single part. on top of that, the w/g is set to only 4 psi, and until i buy or build a boost controller im restricted to that. so im not loosing out any way.
