Only 1 flaw in this

manifold design and the end cap wasnt rounded (bulged out) instead it was just capped off.
There are tons of other flaws too, for instance there are no velocity stacks on the runners.

feel free to list them all, because I'm up to hear what you have to say. Velocity stacks? what do you mean.. This isnt NA?

Inside it looks just like a factory intake with the runners all smoothed out into the plenum.

Runner length is short, which is great for FI. Have you ever looked at a JG Vic X manifold? Did you ever see their eairler designed intake manifolds by JG? It looks identicle to this.

My 125 dollar manifold probably gave me again over 15whp.

did you make that manifold out of aluminum, and if so, was it tig'd or aluminum gas welded?

You must be one cool dude if you have mates who all chiped in to help you out.
Mine get bored after an hours work.
Just goes to show what a team can achive against one guy trying to do it all.

Mad 12 second runs Yo!

Also, to keep with the spirtit of this thread. Here's one guy who's trying to take multiple turbos on a V-8 to a whole new level

Well, this is the first thread I have seen in this forum. I am entirely a complete NOOB! I know nothing about any of this. I am very impressed with this setup. Jeff, if the rest of this forum is half as impresive as this thread, I will be spending LOTS of time here. That car looks wicked fast!
KUDOS!!!

The manifold is aluminum. It also looks to me like it was TIG welded. Those are also some very nice TIG welds. Very nice penetration and I like the way it was done in 2 pieces for some flawless runner entrances in exchange for some rough areas where it doesn't really matter on the 2 welds to close it all up.

More Pics..

2 weeks after this project was complete I was out racing the ---- out of it, and I broke the ring lands in the #2 cyl. (these pistons were out of a blown ls/vtec from previous & #2 was the ---- sleeve) So, I think the piston was a little on the weak side to begin with. Reguardless I had to replace the head gasket anyways so I threw a net set of pistons in.. Can you say B16 PR3?

I also cleaned up the manifold..

Shot of the Downpipe

Another Shot..

Also ditched the mexican gold valve cover and went with flat black. The 11.3 compression Ratio is a bit scary with boost. The engine even sounds alot different than before. Boost has been creeping to 11-12 psi, so I need to fix the internal wastegates so they can bleed better, (probably external pipe coming off the pipe) Also am getting my wideband sometime this week so I can get her tuned good.
This is a quote that I found on HMT that I really liked..

"My engine management is setup just how I like my girls. Really Rich and Really Retarded"

So retarded I'm running about 15-16 degrees on the top end and so Rich I'm using my Crvtec fuel map

LOL,
