im using cast CFI pistons

 

head is off again...the head looks to be in good shape, the block looks fine still. i should be popping out the pistons in the next couple days...ill let you know. i really dont see any signs of detonation anywheres though.

 

So wtf happened?

 

im pretty sure i broke a ring land...its the only thing that i can think of. i still haven't pulled out the pistons yet...im hoping to do that tomorrow since i have the day off. pics to come of carnage that ensued

 

well i got my new pistons in the mail today...should be going in before too long. ill keep folks updated. i still haven't gotten around to pulling the old pistons. ill get pics when i do though

got my scale in the mail. should have these pistons balanced out shortly, then the turbo car can go back together. i miss my turbo....

well, i just weighed my pistons. they came in at 429.9g, 429.5g, 428.9g and 429.3g. how close do these pistons have to be?
