Re: Grassroots-motorsports $2008 Civic Si Build 56K no way
Not sure about cleaning , but paint for sure. I will throw in a few bucks for cleaning to appease the judges.. So far I am under the budget .. the real kicker is gonna be wheels and tires...
The hoosiers I have posted will likely not be included. this is gonna be my autocross car for the season and lapping car. I am keeping an eye out for a set of 13"s (nice and wide) |

Re: Grassroots-motorsports $2008 Civic Si Build 56K no way
I freakin love this project, because I feel it epitomizes what HMT was originally all about. Budget builds, ghetto fabbing, being a cheap ass mofo, and have a car that is fast as ---- in the end. (even if they weren't always so reliable). It definitely shows what someone can do to improve their car on a tight budget. It does help that you've gotten some pretty decent hookups, but nonetheless, its gangstur. Keep up the good work, and keep updating the thread. I think this should be a sticky when all is said and done
