some updates.

Ordering TT rods tomorrow , ACL bearings (thanks for the advice guys) and ARP bolts

Have a friend who owns a salvage yard , he got me these 15" Omni wheels (not as shown , but identical)
Attachment 16246

Have another friend / team mate who does some home powder coating.

they are gonna be safety yellow with a polished lip. I was gonna polish them , but it just takes too long and time is of the essence.

70 days left.

Gonna take some pics this weekend , Open up the front bumper for the starion IC , drop the IC off at my welders to be modded. Put on my Home depot garden edging Front lip (ghetto fab)

the rebars (inner bumper supports) are completley gone , shedding a ton of weight from the car. In the rear it is screwed into the panel below the hatch. In the front it is attached to the trim piece that seperates the front bumper and hood. i can take the front bumper off in about a minute. Looks bone stock , but probably shed a good 60-70Lbs off the car.

I also found a pair of weld on 5" supertrapps 9Stupid trapps.

can't decide wether to go with Sid exit duals , or 2 center mounted right in the back.....

Made some major progress last weekend. my Si Tranny was toast and the local tranny shop wanted $700 to rebuild it. So a friend who is doing a Type R swap in his EF gave me his low mile one. Also got the OBD harness from him , a short shifter , Jumper harness for the distributor , Taylor wires....tons of crap for basically nothing.

all Cleaned up with home grown window weld mounts

Head back from my buddy , hot tanked , cleaned the valves up

Attachment 15654

Sweet ass GLH wheels , sandblasted and waiting to be Powdercoated Bronze

Attachment 15655

Go the block notched and ready to go.

My Tuner toys Rods DID NOT require any honing , and went together pretty quick with vitaras. I just need a set of main bearings (like a dumbass I have 2 sets of rod bearings , ACL race , and duraglides) , so I have a set of mains on the way.

Hopefully get it in the car this weekend.

Thats the colour they are being powdercoated. I am lucky to have a friend who owns a wrecking yard. I was gonna do them in yellow , but there is another "focal" point on the car and I didn't wanna detract from it , more on that later.

Got a Ball Bearing T3 today from an RB26.. good shape , better then my little T25.

also picked up a set of newish RC 380's cheap and a set of Talon 450's from a member here

Next up I will chronicle my ultra cheap ass meth injection.. so far with solenoid , relay , nozzle and pressure switch I am under $60. Will see if I have the $$ to 2 stage it

More to come this weekend.. Traded the starion intercooler for something that doesn't need modding.
