remember tho, its apples and oranges.

f22's are completely different than dsm's.

I've yet to see a 14b last till redline on an f22b dohc. I dont even think they pull all that great on a sohc f22.

Indeed apples & oranges. I'm sure the 4g63 stock owns an SOHC F22 in VE.

Some of you guys might find this data I did a long time ago interesting:

http://www.ecimulti.org/scratch/Info...ow_Testing.xls

You will need MS Excel or the like.

The highest I've seen anyone post on the DSMLink forums for a 14b was in ther 32-33lb/min range. It should be noted that didn't last long :) The particular guy I'm thinking of had the friggen WG wired ---- >:D

---

Look at the short times etc on their slips, and the reason(s) they get those ET's is clear :) The traps are all in the lower 100's.

BUT I digress.. getting way off topic sorry.

this turbo is just to get me started as of right now, if i hit 200 awsome, if not ohwell. im going to boost my car wiht this turbo untill i can build the motor, after i build the motor (a full build top to bottom end) then im going to upgrade the turbo and what not, i wont be running 15psi probably between 5-8 just to be safe for the rods and sleeves to hold up.

Stock 1g, we feed those turbochargers from the head. I've personally switched to feeding an Evo3 Big16 to the filter housing and it was getting owned by oil presure. On the 2g's, they run T25's as you know and are fed from the oil filter housing .. they like a lot of pressure. And trust me, a DSM without b-shafts makes just as much oil pressure as a tight bearing'd Honda motor.

So in closing, I'd say a restrictor on the 14b and 16g isn't a bad idea.

Also, I don't post on here a lot I realize.... but I could do without all the JEWS and ------S etcetcetetc. It brought nothing to this thread except to highlight your lack of intelligence. I'd tell you that on NESS or any of the other local forums too (I'm in Des Moines). This bullshit is one of the reasons I DON'T post on here much.

You sir are 100% correct on your dsm info...1st gen 14b's are fed directly from the head. They also don't usually see much over 40psi of oil pressure from that loaction either...this number was recorded from my old galant vr4 which has the same setup as the 1st gen's do. And you're also right later on in your posts about 14b numbers...they can hit well over the 220hp range and do seem very comfortable performing outside their so-called "compressor map " limits. They do however increase the intake temps quite a bit when getting closer to their limit, so a big efficient fmic is definately on order.
