DSM turbo set up on F22b DOHC accord
alright well i just got myself a 1st gen dsm turbo set up yesterday, it has the TD05H turbo, now i was woundering if anyone has had any experiance with this turbo, i cant find anything on it all i can find is upgrades for that turbo. i have a 95 accord with the jdm F22b dohc ive been wanting to turbo it for along time and i just got this set up, i went to a shop that deals with civics and integras (mainly) and they said that the turbo is too small. let me know what you guys think if this set up will 1 work and 2 give me enough boost thanks

dont know which exact turbo that is, but i doubt its the 16g.
if its the 14b, its still a bit small imo for the f22b dohc. people have ran that turbo setup without a problem and alright numbers.
if its the t25, forget about it.

it will also produce a ---- load of heat, especially if you have a crappy side mount.
will it work? yes. will it make your car faster? yes. will it make your engine wear out even faster than the usual, well taken care of turbo'd honda? yes.

there was a guy on here who actually had his turbo accord in the turbo projects section before it got deleted. he also had a 14b on an f22 and you can see from his dyno chart that he made something like 225 hp right away, after that power dropped like a rock. it almost looked like the graph was flipped backwards
(opposite of typical honda power band).

well, im gonna find out what turbo i have, if i like it im gonna keep it and put it on, if not its going on ebay, or ill get a bigger/better turbo. why would the power just drop like that, i see no reason for that what-so-ever, he may have had a bad turbo or something wrong with the system. and no matter what motor you put a turbo on it will wear out faster, the more beating the motor gets the faster its gonna go, i take damn good care of my engine so i dont have to worry about that too much. and im getting a fmi so i dont have to worry about the heat as much either
