Re: does this drain line look ok
ok, so as im unbolting the bolts, like 3-4 of the bolts are blocked by other parts of the turbo, like where the water cooling parts are and where the oil in part is. here is a pic as an example:
and a few more wrenches broke too. after my crappy wrenches broke, i went to borrow a neighboor's craftman 1/2. Even THAT one broke, my dad was under the car tryin to unbolt the bolt, and i was over the engine bay tryin to hold the wastegate out of the way, and the wrench broke and came up and hit me in the cheek, cuttin my cheek up a little bit.
here are some pics of my cheek too:
its just a scratch, but it made me paranoid as hell because it could happen again in my eye or somethin.

First off, cut your hair son :P
Second, it's a lot easier to clock the turbo off the car. Unbolt it from everything and do it on a work bench. You'll have to loosen the bolts up, then move the turbo out to allow more room for the bolts. Basically, just loosen them up as much as you can, then pull out on it, then loosen some more. You'll understand once you do it.

EDIT: what if i just bought like some rubber hose from autozone, and put that on there. there would be no kink, and i woud cut it short enough to where there would be no slump. do you guys think that would work? and if i did do that is there a problem with the oil feed line being somewhat at an angle? just as long as its on top right?
