Thanks for the comments, it took nearly 6 months gathering parts and such.

I went to the track last night, only made 2 passes but they were very similar, This is on a 7 lb spring but it seems to hold pretty steady around 10.5 lbs.

r/t .596
60ft 2.508
1/8 9.739
mph 75.257
1/4 14.943
mph 94.811

I know my 60' is horrible, i'm on 17" with low pro's that are pretty bald already. All that would happen is my tires would turn into a chinese smoke factory and wheel hop pretty bad. I was hoping to see a 13 at least but this is not even close. I need some slicks and some traction bars, then another 15 psi or so and I should be alright.

yeah tell me about it, I need some slicks! I made that pass on about 10 lbs 94mph isnt so bad but it wont hook up.
My 2nd pass was about .8 mph slower and at a 15.02

Comes with time.

With your mani do you notice you get full spool then about 1K rpm later it seems to just "open up" and pull a noticable bit harder? I have full 3" and it seems you have open DP (correct?), but as far as the mani's design I was curious if you noticed the same thing that even though it's at full boost the powerband is immensely different around 5500 rpm.

Oh, and Advanced Auto Parts for that filter? I need a stubby one, but I have P/S do you think it'd still clear?

you need 15" wheels, having no side wall is a bitch for launching.

i nabbed this from importbuilders website article:

"
#1 Rims: This is most important, with tires being number 2. You MUST buy rims no larger than 15” or 16” max, but not as good. When you buy 15” rims, it lets you run a larger sidewall which is better for drag racing, not road racing. You want tire flex. A guy running 40 profile tires with very little sidewall flex sucks for drag racing, it’s far too stiff to get a good launch. You need a softer, taller tire that flexes to help the tire hook up. Ever see any slicks that are 40 profiles? “Laughs”. They are all very tall. So we want tall AND wide. So we choose rims that are at LEAST 7” wide so we can run 225 width tires on them, which is the maximum for most Honda’s. The point of buying the 15” rims is that it will let you run a taller tire and not hit the body when the tire fully expands under launch/acceleration. With 15’s you could feasibly run 225/50R15’s which would work very well for drag racing. If you see people “trying” to drag race on 195/40/R15 and all that, its misery for them. Wheel hop, massive spin, shakey, inconsistent, etc etc.

YES! I was wondering WTF is going on, I am at full boost by about 5k maybe a little less or so, but it takes until about 5500 then its just like BAM BITCHES BOOST IS HERE. I am running 2.5 no cat or res through a 2.5 thrush turbo muffler, it keeps it quiet although it does sound pretty badass when the coupler in front of the muffler blows apart.

I know these rims and tires KILL me, but its all I have at the moment, i'm looking for some rims and slicks, thanks for the info tho I was planning on going with some 14's but from what I've been reading 15's are prolly the way to go.
