Couple boost questions!
Just got everything installed and have the MBC turned all the way down. Its shooting up to 15psi when i give it just over half throttle and then cuts right out around 5000rpm. I have a 38mm tial with an 11psi spring (11 or 7 ima check tommorow). Is this boost creep? any help!!!
Also i have no catch can setup yet and i blew out the dip stick.Iv read I have to vent the crankcase, whats the easiest way to do this on a B20??
Thanks in advance!

boost creep is a momentary spike in boost usually caused by the wrong sized wastegate. your 38mm wastegate should be more than enough to handle a 4 cylinder engine. i think your problem is your manual boost controller. remove it and run the engine with just the wastegate. mbc can cause boost spike as there is usually a delay. i would get rid of it and strictly use the wastegate at boost controll. make sure you get your boost reference from the intake and not the turbo compressor.
what cuts out at 5k rpm? the engine? if so your most likely hitting fuel cutoff
yes. high boost will blow out some dipsticks. add a vent line from your pcv valve to your turbo inlet pipe. this will create a vacuum helping the problem. if this doesnt resove the issue you will need to modify the dipstick so it screws or clamps on. this will stop it from flying up into your hood and spraying oil all over the place. do this modification quickly as you can blow out seals as well.

I do have the waste gate going to the mbc then to the Turbo. I will remove the mbc tonight and run the waste gate straight to the intake tonight.
Yes at around 5000 rpm it just dies, I thought fuel cut to, how do I fix this issue? Fuel cut defender?
As for venting am I gonna have to weld anything onto the turbo to run that line? Is there any pics I could use for reference?
